Patients with end stage kidney disease require a renal transplant. However, dialysis is a time buying process until the transplant is taken on.

The objective of Dialysis Technology Program is to prepare accomplished professionals in dialysis technology with a specific emphasis on clinical skills, technical knowledge which will enable trainee to function as an independent dialysis professional as well as receive training to conduct research in the field of dialysis.

DURATION:

Full time 3 year course Course will be divided into 6 semesters; 2 semesters per year. 1st year- Diploma, 2nd year- Advance Diploma & 3rd year- Degree.

COURSE INSTRUCTOR:

  • Faculty comprises of eminent professionals from the field of nephrology, vascular surgery, dialysis technology, water treatment technology, Biomedical Engineering, Management, Soft skill training, dietician and nutrition.

COURSE OVERVIEW:

Students shall have a dynamic learning schedule which shall include classroom lectures as well as hospital postings.

The intention of the course is not just imparting knowledge on dialysis technology, but it also grooms the student to match the professional competency by enhancing knowledge on communication skills, language proficiency, computing skills, accounting and book keeping, sociology and entrepreneurship.
